The Shallows, by Nicholas Carr, discusses how technology affects our minds. Short attention spans, a limited vocabulary, and a lack of communication are some of the effects of prolonged internet use. The distractions are manipulating us, from forming connections, skills, etc. AI and the Future of Education: Teaching in the Age of Technology by Pristen Shah advocates for the use of technology in the classroom. There are some concerns parents and teachers have about cheating. AI is supposed to help kids achieve their academic goals. The story for the cover of Fahrenheit 451 is that technology is hypnotizing society. Then, for the next book, What the Internet is Doing to Our Brains, technology is starting to control our minds. Finally, with the advent of AI and the future of education, we have become an integral part of technology. We cannot avoid using technology; it has become a tool for everyone.
